#Serial number for daemon tools 5.0.1 upgrade
This is the first time an upgrade was not recorded there I’ve done upgrades from TTY before, and always looked in /var/log/pacman.logĪfter a successful reboot and login to KDE. The upgrade with ‘pacman -Suu’ seemed to proceed normally,īut now I see that NOTHING GOT WRITTEN in /var/log/pacman.logĪll the earlier Syy and Suuw is there, but not the actual upgrade.
#Serial number for daemon tools 5.0.1 download
(First ran pacman -Syy and -Suuw again to make sure my download was current.) (my usual way of doing upgrades)Ģ.5 days later I ran the upgrade from TTY. Then I only downloaded, with ‘pacman -Suuw’. So finally I removed it and installed standard ffmpeg. The pacman log contains nothing at all from the time when I ran the upgrade. (Will have to swap system subvols again.)īoot-up seemed normal until it stopped at “Finished TLP system startup/shutdown”.ĭid not find any obvious clue in the system log.
